Join REACT Team 6006

REACT Team 6006 welcomes people who are interested in community service, radio communications, emergency preparedness, technology and developing practical skills that can be used in service to others.

You do not need to be an amateur radio operator or communications expert to apply.

We are looking for people who are willing to learn, participate, work with others and contribute responsibly to the Team and the community.

Membership is not automatic upon submitting an application. Applicants go through an application, interview and probationary process before becoming Full Members of Team 6006.

How Membership Works

Our Process Made Simple

01 — Submit Your Application

The first step is completing our membership application form and providing the requested information and supporting documents.

02 — Attend an Interview

The interview gives us an opportunity to learn more about you and gives you an opportunity to learn more about REACT, Team 6006, what we do and what will be expected of you as a member.

03 — Application Review

Approval to enter probation is not yet Full Membership. The probationary period gives both the applicant and the Team an opportunity to determine whether membership is a good fit.

05 — Full Membership

Once the required probationary process has been completed, the membership requirements have been satisfied and final approval has been granted, the applicant transitions to Full Membership of REACT Team 6006.

04 — Probationary Membership

Depending on available activities, this may include meetings, training, community events, communications exercises and other Team activities.

Membership Fees

TT$125 per calendar year

Annual Membership — TT$125

Membership fees are assessed on a calendar-year basis and help support the continuing administration and operation of the organization.

Applicants entering probation are required to pay the applicable membership fee as part of completing the membership process.

Please note: Membership fees and requirements may be revised from time to time. Applicants will be advised of the applicable fee and requirements during the application process.

Do I Need a Radio License?

No!

You do not need to already hold an amateur radio license or be an experienced radio operator to apply for membership in Team 6006.

Members come from different professional and technical backgrounds, and there are useful roles within the organization beyond radio operation.

Those interested in communications are encouraged to develop their knowledge and obtain relevant training and licensing where appropriate.
